The routines and articles on Yoga Seishin are for general information and wellbeing. They are not medical advice, and they are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional.

Check with a professional first if you

  • are pregnant or have recently given birth
  • are recovering from an injury or surgery
  • have a heart condition, high blood pressure, glaucoma, osteoporosis or another medical condition
  • have pain that is severe, getting worse or has no clear cause
  • are new to exercise and unsure whether it’s right for you

While you practice

  • Move slowly and stay within a comfortable range. Stretching should feel like mild tension, never sharp, pinching or radiating pain.
  • Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, numbness, tingling or shortness of breath.
  • Use the easier options. They’re part of the practice, not a lesser version of it.
  • Practice on a stable, non-slip surface with enough space around you.
